Online Advertising Strategist

IMGE is one of the leading digital agencies in the country based minutes outside of Washington, DC in the heart of Old Town Alexandria. Our mission is to revolutionize how political candidates, global brands, and advocacy campaigns mobilize and engage voters, customers, and advocates. The IMGE team is young, energetic and the work is fast paced.

We’re looking for an all-star ad operations manager to help us continue to build out an innovative advertising suite of products. You’d be helping determine which partners we should be testing, how to better measure ad effectiveness, and change the way our clients are spending their advertising dollars.

Why’s this important? Because digital advertising is growing at a ridiculously rapid rate and major campaigns and corporations are turning to IMGE to help them navigate this growth. That’s where you come in.

 

Here’s the type of person we’re looking for:

You have technical skills and are a “doer.”  Must have familiarity working in multiple ad buying platforms (Google AdWords, Facebook, Twitter, 3rd Party Adserving and DSP’) Experience with Web Analytics and Data Management Platforms are a big plus.

Self-starters.  We’re small, scrappy, and are always looking for ways to help our clients do cool things. You’ll have some autonomy – if you want to try something new, just ask.

You care about marketing.  This is super interesting stuff for folks that care about marketing and advertising. You will be in a unique position to help craft where this department goes and support what our clients are doing.

And here are the qualifications that the ideal candidate has:

  • Experience buying and placing digital media
  • Experience working with an ad server and demand side platforms
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Must be able to meet tight deadlines while juggling several requests and projects
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Must be able to work in Old Town Alexandria (Washington DC area)

Additional qualities highly sought:

  • Familiarity with ad reporting/tracking software
  • Familiarity with Web Analytics, specifically Google Analytics
  • Familiarity with DoubleClick ad stack (DCM/DFA, DBM)
  • Familiarity with data partners

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Trafficking and executing on media plans through ad buying tech
  • Working with client facing teams on developing advertising goals for clients
  • Some development of specific media plans for clients
  • Optimization during ad campaign
  • Post ad campaign reporting
